Job summary

MNF Global, on behalf of a prominent national law firm, seeks a lateral associate to join its technology, data privacy, and cybersecurity practice in Phoenix.

You will advise on privacy compliance, draft technology agreements, and support incident response and regulatory reporting across industries.

Candidates should have 5–7 years of substantive data privacy or information governance experience, strong drafting and communication skills, and a JD from an accredited law school.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 5-7 years of substantive experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, technology transactions, or information governance at a law firm or in-house.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology-related agreements and advising on privacy compliance programs.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate technology and commercial agreements.
• Support incident response matters, including breach investigation, notification, and regulatory reporting.
• Work cross-functionally with corporate, IP, and litigation colleagues to deliver integrated client solutions.
