Job summary

Teachers Retirement Association (TRA) seeks a Data Practices Officer to lead data privacy, governance, and records management, supervising TRA Records and Data Management systems and ensuring compliance with the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. The role also develops data gathering/sharing processes and a training program for staff.

The position is based in Saint Paul, MN with substantial in-person work and up to 35% travel to manage records and support continuity across sites.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive data management or government data practices experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead data privacy, governance, and records management at TRA.
• Supervise Records and Data Management systems and evaluate current practices.
• Develop processes to gather and share data and enforce related laws.
