Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics, headquartered in Belleville, Michigan, seeks a Data Practice Manager to own the data domain end-to-end. You will lead a team of DBAs, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers, drive the data warehouse and reporting, and own Master Data Management practices.

You will partner with software teams, push AI tooling into delivery, and ensure governance, quality, and customer-facing reporting; a strategic, hands-on leader is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data-related experience including data engineering, warehousing, analytics, or DBA roles.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams and delivering projects.
• Experience with Azure cloud, SQL integration, ELT pipelines, Snowflake modeling, data quality, and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the Data practice including team, standards, and roadmap.
• Manage DBAs, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers.
• Lead delivery of the data warehouse project from build to rollout.
