Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Data Practice Manager to own the data function end to end, leading DBAs, analysts, and engineers. You will drive our data warehouse initiatives, master data management, and governance while partnering with software teams to push AI tooling into delivery.

The role requires strategic leadership and hands-on coaching within a 1000+ person organization. You will guide the data practice roadmap, oversee budgeting, and ensure high-quality, customer-facing

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data-related work — data engineering, warehousing, analytics, or DBA roles.
• 3+ years managing teams and delivering projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud, SQL integration, ELT pipelines, Snowflake modeling, data quality, and SDLC practices.
• Experience leading reporting initiatives leveraging Power BI and Power Automate.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the data function end to end, including team, platforms, and roadmap.
• Manage a team of DBAs, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers to advance data warehousing and reporting.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex data, reporting, and database issues.
• Collaborate with software development teams and внедрить AI tools in delivery processes.
• Lead data governance, SDLC standards, and data quality initiatives.
