ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR THIS POSITION

DATA POLICY CONSULTANT

The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as a key escalation point for data policy within the client's Enterprise Data Services, collaborating with leadership to leverage data governance capabilities, ensure compliance, and support strategic departmental needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with business units to assess data security and compliance needs, demonstrating how Enterprise Data Services can add value.
• Develop and coordinate data policies that align with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
• Monitor adherence to data policies, industry regulations, and organizational standards.
• Capture and document requirements for data policy management capabilities in support of the data governance product backlog.
• Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information across business units.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in data systems and generate training materials on data privacy practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a major services organization with large-scale data or project management oversight, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (STEM).
• Advanced degree with 8+ years of related work experience.
• Proven experience in senior management roles with Board-level change or transformation leadership.
• Strong knowledge of data governance practices and data protection strategies.
• Experience leading data cataloging, protection, and quality management initiatives.
• Flexibility to travel up to 10%.
