Compensation: $171,600 - $230,100 per year (Burbank), $179,700 - $241,000 per year (Seattle). Additional bonus or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
The Manager, Data Platforms Product Owner & Engineering Delivery is a key technical leadership role that leads major projects related to our data platforms, overseeing product ownership and delivery management for initiatives such as the Finance Data Layer—a data lakehouse that provides data to Finance systems and applications.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a technical team through the delivery of major engineering initiatives, providing guidance for technical projects related to data platforms and solutions.
- Lead project teams while delivering on‑time, on‑budget and on‑scope.
- Lead the innovation, development and improvement of software and data solutions by managing day‑to‑day development, testing and implementation of technical solutions.
- Serve as product owner for data platforms—setting product strategy, defining and managing the product roadmap.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver data solutions that meet their business needs.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- Lead a team of individual contributors and provide mentorship and career development beyond day‑to‑day technical guidance.
- Collaborate strongly, guiding and influencing technical decision‑making.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of technical or professional experience programming and designing in languages such as Java, Python, Scala, etc.
- Demonstrated experience managing data and analytics platforms, project leadership, and product management.
- Experience developing enterprise data and analytics solutions.
- Experience with high‑scale cloud data platforms.
- Experience leading large, complex, data‑centric projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively partner across all levels and manage multiple projects with high standards.
- Intellectually curious and desire to remain up‑to‑date with emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise data domains, especially Finance and HR data.
- Experience with SAP Systems (S4, BW, HANA, BDC).
- Experience with EPM Systems (e.g., Oracle EPM).
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with AI/ML.
- Experience with Data Governance.
- Experience with Master Data Management.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Master’s Degree a Plus.
