Job summary

Hapi (Data Travel, LLC) seeks a technically-minded Product Owner to drive strategy, prioritization, and delivery for the Data Platform and Data Products. You will own the end-to-end backlog for an AWS-native data platform, coordinating with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Solutions Architecture.

You will co-author epics and user stories, review pipeline specs, and ensure delivery stays on track in a fast-paced, data-driven SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum as a Product Owner.
• Experience owning data engineering/data platform/backlog items.
• Knowledge of modern cloud-native data architectures (data lakes, lakehouses, ELT/ETL).
• Ability to translate technical requirements into clear backlog items and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the data platform product backlog.
• Co-author epics, features, and user stories with Data Engineers.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Translate requests into actionable backlog items for delivery.
