Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in data engineering, data platform administration, or enterprise BI with cloud data warehouses at scale.
• Experience with multi-account or multi-tenant cloud data architectures and access controls.
• Proficient in SQL programming and scripting for data transformation and automation.
• Strong experience with data ingestion tools and ETL/ELT frameworks including Fivetran, HVR, Matillion, dbt, Apache Coalesce, and Postman.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) and Snowflake Cortex.
• Snowflake (SnowPro Core/Advanced) or comparable certifications.
• Knowledge of agile, DevOps, CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the enterprise data platform administrator, managing access, security, and configurations across multi-cloud environments.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance, security, and cost, ensuring SLAs and reliability.
• Design and support scalable data pipelines using CDC, ETL/ELT, APIs, and batch loads.
• Build curated data sets, semantic views, and data models for BI and AI apps.
• Onboard new data sources and document data lineage for governance and troubleshooting.
• Support deployment and monitoring of AI-enabled applications and agents.
• Collaborate on semantic layers, knowledge graphs, and ontology for reliable AI query layers.
• Document architecture and best practices; train users across technical and non-technical teams.
• Evaluate new platform capabilities and drive adoption of innovations into production.
