Job summary

Penske seeks an Associate Data Platform Engineer/Platform Lead for its Digital Products group in Reading, PA. The role focuses on designing, evolving and supporting data platforms that power our SaaS solutions.

You will collaborate with software engineers and operations to ensure smooth deployment and operational excellence. This office-first position requires in-office presence at least 4 days a week, with responsibilities spanning platform design, automation, security and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 7+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• 2+ years leading organizational implementations of DevOps platforms and pipelines.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Architect or similar role in complex software environments.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Monitoring/logging tools: Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Solid knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
• Documentation of DevOps processes, procedures, and architecture; security as code.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network and connectivity solutions supporting digital products and SaaS platforms.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure infrastructure designs.
• Architect and support hybrid and cloud-native networking solutions.
• Ensure high availability, resiliency, and performance of product-facing systems.
• Evaluate and adopt modern networking technologies; monitor and optimize performance.
