Job summary

UJET is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team. You will own data systems end to end—from CDC replication of production MySQL, pipelines shaping data in BigQuery, Terraform-managed infra, to Looker models on top.

You will build models, set patterns for safe data shipping, and troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with Analytics, Finance, and product teams to deliver trusted metrics, self-serve dashboards, and scalable analytics across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with data platform focus.
• Strong programming in Python.
• Strong SQL skills and analytical data modeling.
• Experience with BigQuery, dbt, and Looker is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own data platform foundations and ship dbt projects safely.
• Improve ingestion and CDC replication from MySQL to BigQuery.
• Partner with Analytics and Finance to deliver trusted metrics and dashboards.
