Job summary

Zeno Group is hiring its first dedicated data engineer to lead the migration of our data platform to an AWS-centered architecture. You will design the data layer for AI products, build ingestion pipelines, and enable analysts to access clean data for client work.

You will collaborate daily with D&I analysts, participate in architecture and migration decisions, and help scale data workloads while maintaining ongoing client deliverables. This role reports to the Head of AI & Innovation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery) and Python.
• Ability to participate in architecture discussions on schema design and data modeling.
• Familiarity with LLM tooling, vector databases, or document processing Pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transition data infrastructure to a modern architecture built around AWS.
• Improve and scale existing client data pipelines while keeping client deliverables running.
• Support Snowflake migration by documenting current schemas and validating the new architecture.
• Build the data layer for AI products, including ingestion pipelines and APIs.
• Create views and clean tables for analysts to query directly without complex SQL.
• Collaborate with analysts and DevOps on migration decisions and client work.
