Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst on data warehouse or analytics projects.
• Proficiency in SQL (DBT) for profiling and validation.
• Ability to write data requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with data testing and reconciliation across sources and layers.
• Strong ability to document business rules and source-to-target mappings.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and slowly changing dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for data objects and the Gold layer.
• Collaborate with data platform engineers on source-to-target mappings and data rules.
• Support data testing and validation across source, staging, and reporting layers.
• Drive alignment among stakeholders with competing definitions and priorities.
• Develop deep understanding of medallion architecture, data lineage, and governance.
