Akkodis in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking an experienced Data Business Systems Analyst to serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and the data platform engineering teams responsible for delivering the data platform. You will elicit, document, and validate business requirements that drive the design of curated, consumption-ready data objects in the Gold layer of our medallion architecture.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst on data warehouse or analytics projects.
• Proficiency in SQL (DBT) for profiling and validation.
• Ability to write data requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with data testing and reconciliation across sources and layers.
• Strong ability to document business rules and source-to-target mappings.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and slowly changing dimensions.

Responsabilités

• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for data objects and the Gold layer.
• Collaborate with data platform engineers on source-to-target mappings and data rules.
• Support data testing and validation across source, staging, and reporting layers.
• Drive alignment among stakeholders with competing definitions and priorities.
• Develop deep understanding of medallion architecture, data lineage, and governance.
