Job summary

Profound is seeking a Software Engineer, Data Platform to design, build, and scale data infrastructure powering our analytics and ML efforts. You will shape platforms for engineers, data scientists, and analytics teams, enabling robust data workflows and governance across the organization.

Join a fast-moving, impact-driven team in NYC (onsite) with a strong focus on scalable lakehouse tech, data quality, and enabling MLOps across products and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building platforms for engineers and data scientists.
• Experience operating large-scale distributed data systems.
• Expertise with analytics/lakehouse tech such as Snowflake, ClickHouse, Iceberg.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build platform infrastructure for ML, analytics, and engineers.
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, quality, and observability tools.
• Architect scalable, reliable systems using Snowflake, ClickHouse, AWS, dbt, Dagster.
• Build governance, access control, and data quality systems.
• Enable MLOps by supporting model development and productionization.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver solutions.
