Firecrawl is hiring a Data Partnerships Engineer in San Francisco, hybrid work model, to own technical relationships behind core data sources. The role focuses on building integrations, APIs, and pipelines, collaborating with partner teams to ensure data quality and scalable delivery.
Ideal candidates have 4+ years of backend/data/integration experience, and are comfortable navigating cross-functional partnerships to ship impactful data capabilities at scale.
You'll build and own the technical relationships behind Firecrawl's most important data sources. As the web becomes the training and grounding layer for AI, the partnerships that give us reliable, high-quality, permissioned access to data are core to the business. You'll be the person who turns those partnerships into working pipelines — negotiating the technical terms, building the integrations, and keeping the data flowing cleanly at scale. This is an engineering role with a partnerships surface, not an account-management role with an engineering title.
Salary Range: $200,000–$260,000/year
Equity Range: Competitive equity — details shared during the process.
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid, on-site required)
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 4+ years building production backend, data, or integration systems
Visa: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We're not able to sponsor visas right now, though that may change down the line.
Firecrawl is the easiest way to turn the web into data AI agents can use. One API call converts any URL into clean, LLM-ready markdown or structured data - the boring-hard problem everyone building with LLMs eventually hits, solved.
We hit 8 figures in ARR in year one and more than doubled it in year two. We have 150k+ GitHub stars, and developers, agents, and category-defining AI companies build on us every day. Growth like this is rare, and we're just getting started.
We're a small team punching far above our weight. Everyone here owns a real piece of the product and company, end to end, and runs it themselves - no hiding behind process or headcount.
This is a place for people who want to work at the frontier: an AI company building the infrastructure other AI companies run on, not one bolting AI onto an existing product. We move fast, go deep, and are building the tools superintelligence will rely on to gather data from the web.
Own the technical side of Firecrawl's data partnerships end to end — from first integration conversation to a pipeline running in production
Build and maintain the connectors, ingestion pipelines, and APIs that bring partner and source data into Firecrawl reliably and at scale
Work directly with partners' engineering teams to design integrations, resolve auth and access hurdles, and keep data flowing as their systems change
Ensure data quality, freshness, and compliance across every source — clean in, clean out
Partner with the founders and go-to-market team on which data relationships to pursue and what the technical bar for each one is
Turn recurring integration patterns into repeatable infrastructure so the next partnership is faster to land than the last
You've built and operated backend, data, or integration systems that other teams depend on
You're comfortable being the technical face in a partner conversation — you can earn an external engineering team's trust and make design calls in the room
You care about data quality, reliability, and correctness, and you sweat the edge cases in messy real-world data
You move fast and close the loop — you'd rather ship an integration, measure it, and iterate than perfect it on paper
You're comfortable owning ambiguous, cross-functional problems and driving them to a shipped result
Someone who wants partnerships to mean slide decks and relationship management with the engineering handed off to someone else
Someone who needs a fully-specced ticket to start
Someone who optimizes for process over shipping
We operate at an absurd level of urgency because the window for what we're building won't stay open forever. If that excites you, keep reading. If it doesn't, no hard feelings — but this role probably isn't for you.
