Your Job
  • Build tools and services based on foundation models to enhance the efficiency of Statista’s researchers and analysts in data research and modelling.
  • Develop autonomous AI agent networks that can take on the heavy-lifting for complex market forecasting – both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure for hosting tools, AI Agents and API services.
  • Proactively analyze established processes in our content and data teams to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Stay up-to-date with important developments in AI & Automation to ensure constant revision and upgrades of our services and tools.
Your skills
  • You are comfortable in developing automation and AI tools in Python using libraries such as Fast API / Flask, G-Eval, Langchain, Sentence Transformers or Streamlit / Gradio.
  • You have a good understanding and a great interest in the principles and basics of AI applications (RAG-context, prompt engineering, pros and cons of different foundation models, output evaluation).
  • Proficiency in workflow orchestration, containerization and version control tools (e.g. Apache Airflow, Docker or git).
  • You have at least some experience in cloud services and infrastructure (e.g. AWS: ECS, EC2 & EKS); Infrastructure-as-Code is a plus.
  • You have excellent spoken and written English skills.
