The role focuses on turning designs into production-ready data assets to support analytics and decisions, using CI/CD practices and cross-functional collaboration. You will build durable data assets, promote solutions through CI/CD, and ensure governance and metadata capture throughout the build process.

For our client, we are seeking a Data Ops - Data Builder to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will focus on turning architectural designs and analysis requirements into production-ready data solutions that support analytics and business decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to build durable, reusable data assets and deliver governed solutions at speed. The position blends hands‑on engineering, business context capture, and disciplined promotion of data work through modern CI/CD practices.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $102,400 – $170,600 annually

Responsibilities

• Build production-ready solutions from architectural designs and analysis requirements.
• Quickly develop working solutions for new and unfamiliar data.
• Refactor bespoke work into durable, reusable assets.
• Construct physical Silver structures based on the enterprise-agnostic model.
• Implement designs faithfully and promote them through governed CI/CD pipelines.
• Capture business context and metadata during the build process.
• Deliver Gold solutions through MVP, ensuring production-grade standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production-grade data solutions, particularly in analytics engineering or similar roles.
• Strong blend of business fluency and hands‑on engineering skills.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Teradata in a Databricks-first environment.
• Expertise in dimensional and medallion modeling within an enterprise‑agnostic data model.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated code evaluation for production promotion.
• Strong software engineering discipline, including version control and code review.
