Translate business requirements and architectural designs into durable, reusable data assets, delivering production-ready solutions across data modeling, delivery pipelines, and metadata capture to enable scalable, production-grade workflows.

For our client, we are seeking a Data Ops - Data Builder to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will focus on building production-ready data solutions that turn business requirements and architectural designs into durable, reusable assets. The position combines analytics engineering discipline with strong business fluency and hands‑on technical execution in a governed enterprise data environment.
You will work across data modeling, delivery pipelines, and metadata capture to help ensure solutions are scalable, production-grade, and ready for operational use.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $102,400 – $170,600 annually

Responsibilities

• Build production-ready solutions from architectural designs and business requirements
• Quickly develop working solutions for new and unfamiliar data
• Refactor bespoke work into durable, reusable assets
• Construct physical Silver structures based on enterprise-agnostic models
• Implement designs through governed CI/CD pipelines
• Capture business context and metadata during the build process
• Deliver Gold solutions through MVP, ensuring production-grade standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production-grade data solutions, particularly in analytics engineering
• Strong blend of business fluency and hands‑on engineering skills
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Teradata
• Expertise in dimensional and medallion modeling within an enterprise-agnostic data model
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated code evaluation
• Strong software‑engineering discipline, including version control and code review
