Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented individual to provide essential program support for the NAVWAR/NIWC Pacific Message Center. Job description

The employee shall provide daily program support and operation of the NAVWAR/NIWC Pacific Message Center that supports 14 other Command units.

The employee shall:

  1. Provide Naval Messaging support to all supported commands
  2. Maintain Message Center Defense Messaging System (DMDS)/and C2OIX
  3. Have knowledge of naval message writing format
  4. Track, test, and implement all messages and maintain profiler database for additions, deletions, and modifications to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all incoming and outgoing messages
  5. Prepare routine unclassified and classified messages for electronic delivery, and provide appropriate handling for special category (SPECAT), NATO, and Limited Distribution (LIMDIS) information
  6. Able to work hours such as 9:30am to 5:30pm

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience as message and administrative support in a DoD environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with government and contractor personnel
  • Familiar with Military protocol
  • Must have ACTIVE Security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
