650 UHY Advisors Midwest, Inc. is seeking a Data Operations Intern to assist the Shared Resources team with compiling, manipulating, and analyzing client data. The role supports audit processes and aims to improve efficiency through analytics and Excel skills.

The internship targets students nearing graduation or seeking entry into analytics, offering exposure to firm systems and cross-team collaboration within a professional environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 semesters completed in business classes.

Responsibilities

• Audit and Financial Analysis Support: assist audit staff with tasks and prepare sample selections for procedures.
• Use Excel and analytic tools to organize and review financial information.
• Convert client reports (PDFs) into Excel to support audit and data analysis workflows.
• Work through a queue of requests to meet client deadlines.
• Process Improvement and Department Support: assist with efficiency and improvement efforts under team direction.
• Assist other departments with simple analytical assignments (Transaction Services, Litigation, Valuation, Tax Professional Standards).
• Maintain confidentiality of client and firm information.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and willingness to learn.
