Advanced Systems Group LLC is seeking a Data Operations Engineer to join the client’s Business Operations data team in Seattle, WA. You’ll support Airtable systems, API integration, and cross-source data reliability, focusing on operational finance and production data.

Qualifications

• Experience with data engineering, SQL, data modeling, or cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on Airtable systems at scale (multi-base, relational, dashboards).
• Experience integrating Airtable or similar tools with other systems via API.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; you enjoy testing, breaking, and fixing connections.
• Curiosity about how businesses really work—with a willingness to work with financial and operational data even if you don’t have a finance background.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and solve moderately complex problems with general guidance.

Responsibilities

• Help consolidate and manage the team’s Airtable environment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot API connections between systems like Salesforce, Coupa, and internal AWS finance tools to ensure reliable data flow.
• Assist with automated reporting by tying financial, moderation, and production data to one central identifier (Stream ID).
• Build and support dashboards and executive reports to track efficiency and performance.
• Test and validate new integrations before launch, and proactively fix issues as they arise.
• Be the go-to person onsite in Seattle, WA for daily support, escalating more complex issues to the Senior Data Operations Architect.
• Keep our data standards, naming conventions, and system documentation up to date as we scale.
