Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced data engineer to lead end-to-end delivery on a fixed-duration project in New Jersey, onsite three days per week. You will apply advanced Databricks SQL, Snowflake, Python, and data modeling to deliver high-quality outcomes for Accenture clients.

The role requires strong collaboration, mentoring, and ability to analyze delivery metrics to optimize timelines and resources. This position is onsite in the greater New Jersey area with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience with advanced proficiency in Databricks SQL.
• Advanced proficiency in Snowflake Platform, Python Programming Language, Data Modeling and SQL.

• Lead end to end delivery or a defined component of a contract to meet operational contractual and financial commitments.
• Ensure service quality and efficiency while managing delivery outcomes and identifying opportunities for follow on work through up selling or cross selling.
• Subject matter expert in collaborating and managing the team to perform effectively take responsibility for team decisions engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a critical part of this role.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and service quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives and customer expectations.
• Mentor and support team members to develop their skills and achieve project milestones.
• Analyze delivery metrics and provide insights to optimize resource allocation and project timelines.
• Lead risk management efforts by identifying potential challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience with advanced proficiency in Databricks SQL
• Associate Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Snowflake Platform
• Advanced proficiency in Python Programming Language, Data Modeling and Structured Query Language SQL
