Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our Data Operations team. You will design logical and physical data models, collaborate with architects and stakeholders, and ensure data governance and scalable data solutions across cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.

The role focuses on translating complex business requirements into robust data models, supporting real-time insights and reliable reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or related field.
5+ years of Data Modeler or similar data role experience.
Strong relational and dimensional data modeling knowledge (Star/Snowflake ER diagrams).
Experience with data modeling tools (Erwin, Visio, IBM InfoSphere).
Hands-on with data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, SQL, NoSQL).
Understanding of business process modeling and how data supports objectives.
Experience with data integration, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.
Knowledge of data governance, quality and best practices.
Able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead Data Model Design and implement logical and physical models.
Understand business requirements and translate into data models.
Collaborate with technical architects to align with architecture and security.
Ensure data models comply with governance and quality standards.
Design models leveraging cloud, on-premises, or hybrid platforms for real-time insights.
Contribute to ETL design and data integration strategies.
Monitor and optimize models for performance and maintainability.
Engage with stakeholders to anticipate data model needs.
Create and maintain comprehensive data model documentation and best practices.
