Job summary

Veridic Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake / dbt Data Modeling Expert for an onsite contract role in Spring, TX. You will modernize data solutions, design scalable models, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with best practices across the data stack.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, implement Star Schema solutions, and deliver end-to-end data pipelines across Bronze, Gold, and Platinum layers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models using Snowflake and dbt.
• Develop and maintain data transformations, testing, data quality, and data preparation workflows.
• Implement and optimize Star Schema and dimensional data models.
• Review existing code and identify opportunities for architectural and performance improvements.
• Optimize SQL queries and automate data engineering processes.
• Work with Azure Data Factory (ADF), GitHub Actions, Terraform, and REST APIs.
• Support end-to-end data pipelines across Bronze, Gold, and Platinum data layers.
• Prepare data for consumption through APIs and Power BI semantic models.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote Snowflake, dbt, and data modeling best practices.
• Proactively identify technical challenges and recommend innovative solutions.
