Job summary

VDart Inc. seeks an experienced Data Modeler specialized in the Finance domain to design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models supporting financial reporting, accounting, risk, treasury and regulatory initiatives.

Strong SQL and database design expertise are essential, with hands-on work in Erwin, ERStudio or PowerDesigner. The role requires familiarity with major relational databases and modern data warehousing approaches, including Data Vault and dimensional modeling.

Qualifications

• Extensive finance-domain data modeling and data warehousing experience.
• Proficient with dimensional modeling concepts and data vault methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Erwin, ER/Studio or PowerDesigner tools.
• Strong SQL and database design skills across Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure SQL or PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain and optimize conceptual, logical and physical data models for finance domain.
• Collaborate with finance, reporting, risk, treasury and regulatory teams to translate requirements into models.
• Mentor teammates on modeling best practices and standards.

Role Data Modeler Finance Domain

Seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in the Finance domain to design and maintain conceptual logical and physical data models supporting financial reporting accounting risk treasury and regulatory initiatives

Primary Skill

Strong experience in Data Modeling Conceptual Logical Physical

Handson experience with Erwin ERStudio PowerDesigner or similar tools

Strong SQL and database design expertise

Experience with Oracle SQL Server Snowflake Azure SQL or PostgreSQL

Knowledge of Data Warehousing Data Vault and Dimensional Modeling

Understanding of Finance processes such as

General Ledger GL
