Job summary

Canopy in Draper, Utah is seeking a Data Migration Specialist to support customer onboarding and ensure accurate migrations to the Practice Management Suite. The role collaborates with implementation, R&D, and other migration team members to resolve data issues and ensure smooth go-live periods.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of data migration or data analysis experience, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. This is a hybrid role based in Draper with in-office days M, W, F.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in data or file migration, data analysis, or a similar technical role.

Responsibilities

• Support the data migration team during customer implementations to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Assist with preparing, formatting, and validating customer data for migration using Excel, in-house tools, and AI.
• Collaborate with implementation, R&D, and other migration team members to resolve data-related blockers.
• Provide hands-on support during critical cutover and go-live periods.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets to track data, monitor progress, and document reconciliation results.
• Run and document test migrations, verifying accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
• Perform data checks, reconciliations, and quality assurance reviews to ensure data integrity.
• Document processes, data mappings, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of client data.
