Job summary

Health Research, Inc. (HRI) Roswell Park Division seeks a Data Manager I to support the Shashi Lele, MD Familial Ovarian Cancer Registry (FOCR).

You will collect, review, enter, and maintain study data and regulatory documentation throughout the lifecycle, assist with informed consent, and monitor data quality using vendor software. Role requires attention to detail, medical terminology proficiency, and ability to run reports and resolve data discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of full-time experience in clinical trials/research
• Associate’s degree plus 3 years of full-time experience in clinical trials/research
• Degrees must be from an accredited school/university
• Experience collecting, reviewing, entering clinical research data accurately
• HIPAA and data privacy knowledge in medical research
• Experience documenting processes and writing SOPs
• Maintaining study and regulatory documentation throughout the lifecycle
• Experience obtaining and processing informed consent
• Proficiency in medical terminology and medical records abstraction
• Ability to monitor data for completeness and run reports to rectify discrepancies
• Understanding of relational database functionality
• Assisting with study submissions, amendments, renewals, and related materials

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, enter, and maintain study data and regulatory documents
• Assist with obtaining and processing informed consent from participants
• Track participant status and study milestones; handle follow-up communications
• Monitor data quality, run reports, resolve discrepancies, and maintain databases using vendor software
• Support study submissions, amendments, and renewals
