Job summary

University of Copenhagen is seeking a Research Data Manager for DELPHI within the CBMR to curate and manage multi-modal data from the Danish Precision Health Initiative. You will develop data quality controls, automate workflows, and ensure data remains usable for researchers.

The role requires Danish as working language and strong English; start date is 1 November 2026 or after agreement, with full-time employment and potential background screening.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in software engineering, computer science, bioinformatics or a related field; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree paired with several years of work experience in a relevant position
• Strong programming skills with an object-oriented language
• Demonstrated experience in automating data (processing) workflows
• Proven experience with code version control
• Proficient in Danish (working language is Danish) and English communication
• Curious, pro-active and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Data cleaning and data curation to ensure data remains useful, understandable, accessible, and reusable over time
• Developing and maintaining automated data quality control and curation workflows
• Collaborate with Data Analytics Platform and DELPHI team to support data collection and management infrastructure
