Job summary

Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA invites applications for a Data Manager in the Laboratory of Systems Pharmacology (LSP) and Program in Therapeutic Science. The role focuses on curation of clinical, biospecimen, and experimental metadata and maintaining data portals.

The candidate will work under supervision of a Senior Scientific Program Manager and collaborate with HMS faculty; hybrid work up to two remote days per week, in-person schedule 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of open science and FAIR data principles is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day data management tasks in a biomedical research setting.
• curate scientific data including clinical, biospecimen and experimental metadata.
• Maintain and update scientific websites and data portals.
• Assist with grant and manuscript writing; participate in training lab members.
• Collaborate with HMS faculty and senior data manager; support team decisions.
