Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support the U.S. Navy NSWCDD in Dahlgren, VA.

You will establish, maintain, and secure technical documentation repositories and mission-critical databases, ensuring accurate ingestion and secure maintenance of system configurations, test data, and engineering records. Requirements include two years of related experience, Windows Office proficiency (Excel/Word), and IAT II with a T3 investigation.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in documenting and/or data management systems.
• Experience in Windows environment and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• IAT II level with a T3 investigation.

Overview Data Management Specialist JOB LOCATION: Dahlgren, Virginia JOB STATUS: Full Time CLEARANCE: Secret TRAVEL: Less than 10% SALARY: $70,000 to $75,100 Astrion has a contingent opening for a Data Management Specialist supporting the U.S. Navy's Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), located in Dahlgren, VA. As a Data Management Specialist you'll establish , maintain, and secure technical documentation repositories and mission-essential database systems supporting NSWC Dahlgren Division's defense projects. You'll ensure that all documents related to system configurations, tactical warfare test data, and engineering records are accurately ingested, meticulously parsed, and securely maintained in compliance with Navy requirements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Two (2) years of professional experience in relation to developing and maintaining documentation and / or data management systems
• Qualifying experience in a Windows environment, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• P osition require s Information Assurance Technical ( IAT ) II level with a T3 investigation PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Bachelor's Degree in C omputer Science , Data Analytics, Information Systems , or similar fields
