Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Data Management Coordinator II at our Douglasville, GA location. This role supports donor data integrity, maintains records, and collaborates with teams to ensure compliant, accurate data handling.

The position is hybrid after training and includes a daytime shift with health benefits. The role requires strong data processing skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, enabling effective communication and teamwork within the center’s

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of related typing/data processing experience.
  • Excellent typing speed and data accuracy.
  • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve donor data discrepancies and duplicates.
  • Contact donors and third parties to resolve data issues.
  • Modify donor and patient records, including deferrals.
  • Coordinate workflow to ensure timely, accurate tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and donor requirements.

We are seeking a Data Management Coordinator II for our Douglasville, Ga location at: 9851 Commerce Way, Douglasville, GA 30135

Shift Information: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Wednesday - Sunday - This is a Hybrid position after the in person required training period which requires working onsite one day a week.

Hourly rate: $18.41 an hour + Shift Differential (+$1.75 after 3pm, +$2.75 on weekends)
Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve donor data discrepancies and duplicate donor records, including evaluating discrepant information to determine the appropriate resolution.
  • Contact donors and third parties to resolve donor data issues.
  • Modify donor and patient records, including applying and removing deferrals to donor records.
  • Assist in coordinating the workflow of the area, including daily production operations and information requests, to ensure tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Mitigate regulatory, donor and recipient risks by ensuring team meets all compliance guidelines and timelines and implementing solutions to ensure and improve quality.

Qualifications

Education: High School or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of related typing/data processing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Management Experience: N/A

Skills & Abilities: Ability to work on a team. Intermediate level computer skills with Microsoft Office applications in a windows environment are required. Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills required. Must be detail oriented; possess strong organizational skills and the ability to process data with speed and accuracy.

Travel: Some travel may be required.

  • Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
Physical Requirements

The duties are representative of the essential functions of the position. Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer and applicable software for sustained periods of time.
