Job summary

Quantech Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Link and Communication Engineer to support the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB, MA.

You will develop, integrate, test, and deploy Air Force weapon systems and associated tactical data links, ensuring interoperability and conformance to FAA, DISA, NSA, and JMPS standards. You will coordinate across DoD and inter-agency partners, plan DT&E/OT&E activities, advise IPTs and PMs on performance, schedule, and cost impacts, and apply OMS

Qualifications

Independent work capability using rigorous systems engineering principles.
Strong briefing and communication skills for joint military stakeholders and program offices.
Proficiency with tactical data links (Link 16, CNR) and MIL-STD messages (J-Series).
Experience with JMPS, DoDAF architecture development, and configuration management tools.
Bachelor’s in a technical discipline with 12+ years of relevant DoD experience.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering expertise in development, integration, testing, and deployment of Air Force weapon systems and data links.
Interface across DoD, USAF, US Army, Joint communities, and inter-agency partners to ensure compliance with standards.
Plan and support DT&E/OT&E at system and subsystem levels across multiple commands.
Advise IPTs, PMs, staff engineers on performance, schedule, and cost impacts for comms and control architectures.
Apply expertise in OMS architectures and contribute to Government Reference Architectures.
