You will work self-sufficiently from pitch to final product, with a global perspective for readers in the US and overseas. The role may be based in Washington DC or New York, with occasional weekend and flexible

Qualifikationen

• Experience in data journalism focusing on business, finance, economics or politics in North America.
• Experience using data journalism or data science techniques to find and tell news stories.
• Proficiency with R or Python for data sourcing, cleaning and analysis.
• Ability to explain quantitative analysis to non-specialists.
• Interest in continuous learning to stay current.
