Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst, Data Intelligence to partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and other functions, delivering scalable analytics from SAP and other systems.

You will build models, forecasts, and dashboards using SQL, Python, and Power BI, translating complex data into clear recommendations for business leaders. This role offers exposure to planning, profitability, and supply chain performance, with opportunities to influence decisions and advance your analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• One to three years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, finance analytics, FP&A analytics, operations analytics, business intelligence, or a related role.
• Experience building analytical models, forecasts, sensitivity analyses, or scenario-based tools that support business decision-making.
• Experience developing dashboards, visualizations, reports, or other business intelligence outputs, preferably in Power BI.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly, explain assumptions, and translate analysis into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Apply machine learning, AI-enabled tools, and automation techniques to streamline repeatable analysis, improve predictive insights, and reduce manual processes where appropriate.
• Build and maintain forecasting, statistical, and analytical models that support financial planning, demand and volume forecasting, profitability, and manufacturing decisions.
• Analyze trends, variances, and performance drivers to identify root causes and provide actionable recommendations to business leaders.
• Investigate performance trends and variances, identify root causes, and translate findings into practical recommendations for business leaders.
• Validate analytical outputs through appropriate quality checks and clearly communicate assumptions, limitations, and business implications.
• Promote consistency in data definitions, business logic, documentation, and dashboarding practices to improve trust and maintainability of analytical outputs.
• Present insights through concise visualizations and business-focused storytelling for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Use SQL and Python to extract, prepare, integrate, and analyze data from SAP and other enterprise systems.
