Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join a growing sector: Canteen Vending Services. Canteen Vending is searching for a Data Analyst. This individual will perform business intelligence and statistical modeling using various data sources. The candidate must think creatively and work iteratively with business experts to provide advanced analytic solutions. They will assist in preparing reports and presentations of analyses, predictive models, and data mining results.

Responsibilities

• Gather, examine, and analyze data using statistical applications and techniques
• Work with purchasing systems to build reporting structures on SKU performance
• Analyze and evaluate model outputs; formulate and test hypotheses, weigh alternatives, and determine responses for actionable insights
• Design and implement processes for streamlining data extraction and validation
• Research, evaluate, and implement new analytic techniques or technologies as a statistical expert
• Assist and train other analytics staff to improve analytic services
• Understand data trends and incorporate benchmark data into analyses and reports

Qualifications

• BA/BS in math, informatics, economics, or statistics required; advanced degree preferred
• 2+ years in analytics, informatics, or statistics
• Experience in unattended retail industry a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
• Ability to communicate across all levels
• Proficiency in manipulating large datasets
• Knowledge of relational databases and reporting tools
• Experience with data management and analysis software
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to travel 50%, including overnight; company car provided
