Job description

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in strengthening how a human services division uses data to improve outcomes for individuals and families. The Data Integration & Quality Specialist will work closely with program teams to build more consistent, reliable, and meaningful data practices across programs—supporting better decision-making, stronger compliance, and more effective service delivery.

This is a hands-on, program-facing role that operates at the intersection of systems, people, and purpose. Success in this role requires the ability to work directly with staff, improve day-to-day data practices, and translate data into clear, actionable insights that support program operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world challenges, working across teams, and turning data into insight and impact.

Job Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with 2–4 years of experience in data management, reporting, program operations, or program evaluation who brings both technical capability and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a human services, housing, or nonprofit setting and a demonstrated ability to support program teams in improving how data is collected, entered, and used.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Experience using a database, case management system, or program tracking system to support program operations, including data entry, reporting, and/or data quality improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and address data quality issues, inconsistencies, or gaps in program data
  • Experience working directly with program staff or teams, including providing guidance, support, or training related to systems or processes
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly with non-technical audiences, including translating data into actionable insights
  • Experience with performance measurement, reporting, or KPI tracking in a program-based environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced, real-world setting

Experience with systems such as Apricot, HMIS, or similar platforms is preferred, along with experience in training or facilitation.

This role is highly collaborative and program-facing and is not a purely technical or data analyst position.

You will work in an environment that values continuous improvement, cross-program collaboration, and thoughtful problem-solving. This position provides meaningful opportunities to strengthen staff capacity, improve systems, and contribute to strategic initiatives that support long-term impact.

If you enjoy working across teams, supporting staff, and using data to drive meaningful change, this is an opportunity to grow your skills while making a difference.
