Job summary

Weill Cornell Medicine is seeking a Data Integration Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions across enterprise systems and cloud platforms. The role focuses on ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and data movement to support analytics and reporting.

This 2-year term appointment requires independent work on moderately complex tasks while supporting SAP and cloud data warehouses, including SAP BW, SAP BODS, Informatica, and Amazon Redshift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 8-10 years of hands-on data integration/engineering experience.
• Experience with SAP data platforms including SAP BW and SAP BODS.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift.
• Strong SQL development skills including queries, scripting, and stored procedures.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple source systems into enterprise data platforms.
• Build and maintain backend data models to support reporting, analytics, and operational use cases.
• Develop and optimize data movement processes using SAP BODS, Informatica, and cloud-native services.
• Support SAP BW and cloud environments such as Amazon Redshift.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot batch jobs and data pipelines for reliability.
