Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud data warehouse technologies such as Amazon Redshift.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica.
  • Hands-on experience in data modeling and backend data structures.
  • Strong SQL development skills including queries, scripting, and stored procedures.
  • Experience with job scheduling, monitoring, and batch processing.
  • Exposure to multiple data environments (on-premise and cloud) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple source systems into enterprise data platforms.
  • Build and maintain backend data models to support reporting, analytics, and operational use cases.
  • Develop and optimize data movement processes using tools such as SAP BODS, Informatica, and cloud-native services.
  • Support multiple technology stacks including SAP BW and cloud environments such as Amazon Redshift.
  • Perform data transformation, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot batch jobs and data pipelines to ensure reliable system performance.
  • Analyze data integration issues and implement solutions to improve performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to translate requirements into technical data solutions.
  • Document data flows, data models, and technical specifications for maintainability and governance.
  • Provide support for production issues and participate in system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Position Summary

The Data Integration Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions and backend data pipelines across enterprise systems and cloud platforms. This role focuses on ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and data movement to support analytics and reporting. The position works independently on moderately complex tasks and supports multiple technologies including SAP and cloud data warehouses.

This is a term position anticipated to be needed through Fall 2028 but may be ended or extended based on organizational needs, funding availability, and performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Position requires working in an office environment where there some physical discomforts such as dust, dirt, noise, and the like are present. Ability to work off-hours and weekends for go-lives, testing and emergencies, as well as travel between office locations, primarily within NYC is required. Occasional meetings or clinical staff interactions in typical patient care areas may be required though direct patient exposure is not expected. Occasional moving of computer equipment or similar objects up to approximately 50lbs may be required to expedite projects.
