Job summary

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) is seeking a data analyst within the Information & Operations Tech organization to advance IT/OT initiatives at SRNS. You will analyze data, design dashboards, and help build scalable information systems to support mission-critical operations.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, has experience with data modeling and reporting tools, and can mentor teammates while delivering secure IT/OT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered.
• Prior SRS experience with P6, Cobra, and home-grown application data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build integrated Power Platform solutions that streamline workflows and improve data accessibility.
• Design user friendly dashboards that boost engagement and clarify complex metrics.
• Troubleshoot advanced data issues using DAX, Power Query, and multi-system data connections.
• Demonstrate leadership through mentoring lower-level employees and guiding cross-functional teams in technical projects.
• Develop reporting tools that incorporate Earned Value Management principles for high-level project insight.
• Independently manage the full lifecycle of app development, including researching licensing options, coordinating testing phases, and supporting users.
• Exhibit competence in administering and optimizing SharePoint environments to facilitate secure and efficient information sharing across the organization.

Data analysis personnel extract, evaluate and organize data to optimize business performance and operational efficiencies. They use various statistical analysis and data modeling techniques of varying complexity (predictive analytics, regression analysis, machine learning algorithms, etc.). They use advanced data analysis tools for data manipulation, database querying, and visualization. Data analysis personnel translate complex data sets into actionable insights and reports that stakeholders can understand and use to make informed decisions. They collaborate with teams across organizations to understand data needs and ensure data integrity.
