• 8+ years IT experience.
• 4+ years in Enterprise, Solution, or Application Architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data integration and data warehousing solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and Informatica Data Quality.
• Strong understanding of Accounting and Finance business processes and data models.
• Experience integrating financial ERP systems with enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and BI/reporting platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT architecture, data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise data integration architecture supporting finance and accounting operations.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and related Informatica technologies.
• Establish integration strategies connecting financial ERP systems, enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting platforms.
• Implement data governance, data quality, validation, and auditing processes to ensure financial data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and enforce architectural standards, coding practices, design patterns, and integration frameworks.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

One of our clients is seeking an experienced Data Integration Architect with strong expertise in Informatica data integration technologies and a solid background in Accounting and Finance systems. This role will lead the architecture, design, and governance of enterprise data integration solutions connecting financial source systems, data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure financial data integrity, scalability, security, and compliance while serving as a trusted advisor to both business and technical stakeholders.

Job Title: Data Integration Architect – Informatica & Finance Data Integration

Location: Remote (Preferred: Ohio or candidates within the Eastern Time Zone)
Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall Information Technology experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Enterprise, Solution, or Application Architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data integration and data warehousing solutions using:
  • Informatica PowerCenter
  • Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
  • Informatica Data Quality
• Strong understanding of Accounting and Finance business processes and data models.
• Experience integrating financial ERP systems with enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and business intelligence/reporting platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT architecture, data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliation, compliance, and audit processes.
