Allied Solutions in the United States is seeking a Data Integration Analyst I to support transformation, configuration, and ingestion of client data within its insurance-tracking systems. You will translate client requirements into technical specs, build transformation logic, and help ensure production-ready data delivery.
Join a collaborative team to validate data mappings, assist with onboarding calls, document configurations, and troubleshoot ingestion issues post-go-live.
The Data Integration Analyst I is responsible for supporting the transformation, configuration, and ingestion of client data files within Allied's insurance tracking systems. This includes translating client requirements into technical specifications, building and maintaining transformation logic, and assisting with validation and troubleshooting. The role contributes to both the initial implementation and ongoing maintenance of lender data configurations and helps ensure accurate, timely, and production-ready data delivery.
Data Transformation and Configuration Setup – 30% Analyze client file formats to extract data requirements and determine transformation needs. Translate business rules and client specifications into detailed source-to-target mapping logic. Configure import profiles and lender setup parameters in the system to ensure compatibility. Document transformation logic using standardized templates for handoff and reference. Perform initial transformation validations to catch formatting or logic inconsistencies. Collaborate with Analyst II and ETL developers to review and finalize complex logic components. Maintain configuration standards and contribute to improving reusable transformation logic. Update and version control mapping documentation as files evolve or rules change.
File Validation and Testing – 25% Conduct field-level validation of test files to ensure mappings, formats, and values align with system expectations. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with managing test cases and issue tracking. Review ingestion results and perform root cause analysis on failures or unexpected outcomes. Document validation steps, transformation checks, and test results for future reference. Coordinate with QA Analysts to ensure proper sequencing of test scenarios and confirm expected behavior. Validate backfeed generation and ensure record integrity across inbound and outbound transformations. Track validation progress and elevate blockers to ensure delivery timelines are maintained. Participate in post-testing review meetings to document lessons learned and process improvements. Perform regression testing after configuration changes to ensure no impact to previous logic. Collaborate with Analyst II to validate transformation logic under complex scenarios or overrides.
Client Communication and Onboarding Support – 20% Participate in technical onboarding calls to clarify file structures and system mapping requirements. Confirm understanding of client data structures and document assumptions or open questions. Provide professional, client-facing responses to data questions and transformation status updates. Collaborate with Implementation Managers to align onboarding timelines and expectations. Clarify system behaviors for custom or complex logic fields and offer alternatives when necessary. Help clients interpret system validation feedback and revise file formatting as needed. Track communication history and ensure all client logic decisions are documented. Maintain consistent, technically accurate communication with both client and internal teams. Review file content with client contacts and confirm transformation design aligns with their expectations. Communicate risks or edge cases early in onboarding to ensure expectations are managed.
Production Support and Issue Resolution – 15% Troubleshoot ingestion failures by reviewing file content, mapping rules, and transformation logs. Respond to helpdesk tickets involving configuration mismatches, invalid data formats, or field logic gaps. Coordinate with Production Support to hand off background on non-standard transformation behavior. Review system monitoring reports and error queues to detect trends in recurring data problems. Update known issues in lender profiles and documentation sites for reference by support teams. Validate post-deployment data imports to confirm production alignment with test results. Assist with file modifications or transformations as client files evolve post-go-live. Escalate persistent issues to Analyst II or QA with documented troubleshooting history. Monitor ingestion health and performance post-launch to detect degradation or latency. Document resolution steps and lessons learned from post-implementation support events.
Documentation and Process Improvement – 10% Maintain lender-specific documentation for mapping logic, transformation details, and exception handling. Ensure consistency and completeness in internal documentation repositories. Contribute to internal process documents including configuration walkthroughs and intake guides. Share newly discovered issues and edge cases through team channels or update logs. Participate in team review of standard procedures and propose updates when gaps are identified. Assist in the development and maintenance of standardized templates and review checklists. Provide documentation feedback based on implementation experience to improve clarity and usability. Support onboarding of new team members by sharing reference documents and leading walkthroughs. Document variations in configuration for lenders with custom logic to ensure long-term clarity. Collaborate with QA and other analysts to ensure documentation accurately reflects validated behavior.
