Job summary

Hawaiian Humane Society in Hawaii seeks a data-focused professional to compile, analyze, and report organizational statistics for senior leadership. You will source data from PetPoint, Clinic HQ, and other systems, write SQL queries, develop reports, and maintain data integrity across platforms.

You will handle grant data, ensure confidentiality, train staff on data practices, and collaborate across departments on process improvements while supporting a dynamic animal welfare organization.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database platforms, with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
• Knowledgeable in modern office procedures, equipment operation, and professional communication etiquette.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
• Microsoft SQL Server: Proficient in SQL Server database development (design, queries, stored procedures) and server administration.
• Proficient in SQL Server Reporting Services and Visual Studio for report design.
• Microsoft Windows Server: Proficient in basic server operations, task scheduling and file management.
• Education/Training: Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent portfolio/experience.
• Experience: 3 years of data entry, statistical and analytical experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for internal stakeholders and ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Compile, analyze, and report organizational statistics for senior leadership.
• Source data from PetPoint, Clinic HQ, and other systems; verify accuracy.
• Write and run SQL queries; develop reports and trend analyses.
• Document analytical methods and train staff on data collection practices.
• Ensure data confidentiality and governance across systems.
• Support grant reporting with data for applications and funder deliverables.
• Maintain records in PetPoint, Clinic HQ, SQL and other systems.
• Manage a reporting calendar and distribution lists across departments.
• Collaborate across departments on data needs and process improvements.
