Job summary

Data Ideology is seeking a Data Analyst in Pittsburgh to organize and manage deliverables in a data warehouse consolidation and BI implementation project. You will collaborate with business and IT teams to understand objectives, gather requirements, and ensure solutions meet client needs throughout the analytics lifecycle.

The role emphasizes data analysis, data quality, ETL support, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or computer science related field preferred, but not necessary.
• 2+ years’ experience with any programming language (SQL, PLSQL, R, Python, etc)
• 2+ years’ experience in data analytics on any data warehouse (Oracle, SQL, Snowflake)
• Healthcare experience a plus
• Remote work from home.
• Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Interpretation: conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends and insights.
• Data Extraction and Transformation: assist with ETL to load data from various sources.
• Quality Assurance and Testing: validate data quality and communicate when standards are not met.
• Problem Solving: perform root cause analysis and propose solutions.
• Collaboration and Communication: work with IT and business stakeholders to align goals.
• Documentation: document data mappings and standard processes.
