Job summary

CapTech is seeking a Data Analyst to join our collaborative team, translating data into actionable insights for clients. You will define data requirements, design data models, and deliver analytics across projects, partnering with data engineers, architects, and scientists.

You will work with SQL, Python and R to analyze datasets, develop governance practices, and produce compelling dashboards with PowerBI and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile development, including requirements definition and testing.

Responsibilities

• Quantify ambiguous business problems by analyzing processes, data and systems and gathering data requirements from clients.
• Implement data governance by capturing definitions, identifying data stewards, and mappings through source-to-target transformations.
• Develop data collection systems, implement databases and analytics to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct data quality analysis and provide recommendations for QA processes that improve data health.
• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to guide decision making across the business.
• Develop reports using modern data visualization tools to surface insights for end users.
• Communicate with executives, data modelers, developers, business users and customers to build solutions and interpret results.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Scientists, and Product Owners on projects.
