Job summary

Elevance Health seeks a Business Information Analyst II to analyze business processes, develop performance reports, and provide decision-support insights. The role combines in-office collaboration 1-2 days per week with flexible remote work, within a policy that requires commuting distance from posting location.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years related operational and/or data analysis experience.
• Experience with database structures and standard query and reporting tools; or equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures.
• Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and notes performance deviations and anomalies.
• Creates and publishes periodic reports and any necessary ad hoc reports.
• Translate business requirements into usable decision support tools through diagnostic and data tracking.
• Interpret complex data sets and extract insights to drive business decisions.
• Provide analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership or external customers.
• Handle data analysis and reporting with high complexity.
