Job summary

ComEd in Illinois seeks a data analytics professional to design, develop and implement BI solutions using Power BI, SQL and related tools to support audits and business processes. You will build dashboards, automate reports, and partner with teams across Exelon affiliates to improve controls and risk-informed decision making.

Strong communication and data visualization skills are essential, with a focus on turning data into actionable insights for business partners and auditors.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfort querying, interpreting and visualizing data from a variety of sources to create a cohesive story.
• Proficient user skills in Excel.
• Experience in SQL.
• Experience with data exploration, data visualization, data preparation, report design and delivery using Power BI/Tableau or other BI tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• High standards for customer service and the ability to build effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the design, development and implementation of BI, data analytics and digital technology solutions.
• Support other EAS and business initiatives to improve internal processes and the control environment.
• Provide active assistance and support to build EAS team capabilities in analytics, data visualization and data modeling.
• Management and database administration of a dedicated EAS data analytics platform and database.
