Job summary

CapTech Consulting is seeking a Data Analyst to help define and deliver innovative data solutions for clients, spanning from data modeling to actionable insights. They will work at the intersection of data and strategy, quantifying business problems, and delivering data-driven recommendations.

You will collaborate with data engineers, architects, scientists, and product owners across Agile projects, building reports and dashboards with tools like PowerBI and Tableau while ensuring data quality

Qualifications

• Experience working in an Agile development environment, including requirements definition and testing.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical languages and packages for analyzing large datasets.
• Demonstrable experience in the design of data models, database design development, data profiling, and various data analysis tools.
• Demonstrable experience with ETL/ELT, data ingestion, and data wrangling.
• Experience communicating concepts to both business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Quantify ambiguous business problems by analyzing business processes, data, and systems and gathering data requirements from clients.
• Implement data governance practices by capturing data definitions, identifying data stewards, and data transformations via source-to-target mappings.
• Develop data collection systems, implement databases and analytics to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct data quality analysis and provide recommendations for quality assurance to improve data health.
• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide insights for decision making.
• Develop reports using modern data visualization tools to surface insights to end users.
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to build solutions and interpret results.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Scientists, and Product Owners on projects.
