You will create and maintain reports, validate results, automate data processes, and present outputs clearly to partners using SQL, Python, Excel, and BI tools. The role requires collaboration with informatics and health care teams to ensure data accuracy and actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/research discipline required, or an additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Three (3) years of analytics experience required
  • Experience in a managed health care environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Independent Health EDW, Health Rules, Beacon, and Power data structures preferred
  • Proficient in SQL and Python required
  • Fundamental knowledge of data mining concepts preferred
  • Fundamental knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras preferred
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning techniques preferred
  • Knowledge of LLM and NLP concepts preferred
  • Knowledge of industry analytical concepts, courses or certification preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare concepts and healthcare data, including CPT, HCPCS, DRG, ICD-10/ICD-9 codes
  • Experience integrating data into reports with less-common, unstructured, or cloud-based data sources, including ADT, SNOWMED, HL7, LOINC, immunization data, and JSON files
  • Knowledge of descriptive statistical techniques
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Excel, Milliman–MedInsight, Business Objects, and Qlik
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into reports/analyses and frame valuable business questions
  • Ability to present and communicate outputs and statistical analysis clearly to business partners
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to innovate and enhance existing solutions

Responsibilities

  • Stay current with data technologies and industry trends to enhance analytical capabilities
