Job summary

Clutch Canada is seeking a Software Engineer for the AI team to support data collection and model training operations. You will find new audio data, operate our cloud infrastructure on GCP, and collaborate with scientists to optimize data for models. Ideal candidates have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, 5+ years of experience, and skills in bash/Python, Docker, and GCP. This is a full-time position based in Naperville, with competitive salaries ($140,000–$200,000) and a friendly work culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.

Responsibilities

• Find new sources of audio data and integrate into our ingestion pipeline.
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure on GCP managed with Terraform.
• Collaborate closely with Scientists to improve data quality and throughput.
