Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a knowledgeable School Psychologist to provide comprehensive services supporting students’ academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs in Livingston Public Schools.

The candidate should be certified or eligible for New Jersey School Psychologist certification, with strong skills in assessment, consultation, and data-driven practices. Collaboration with families and staff is essential to promote inclusive support.

Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for the New Jersey School Psychologist certification at the time of application.
• Experience as a school psychologist in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong ability to use data to identify student needs and guide interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments.
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
• Provide consultation to teachers and staff and contribute to intervention planning.
• Offer appropriate counseling or student support services within the school setting.
