Overview

A professional information technology group is seeking a Data / Information Architect to join their team. This role is an integral part of our mission to maintain and improve IT functions. This position is for a system modernization project and will require you to use data modeling tools on ORACLE and MS SQL databases. You will be responsible for creating and updating data models and documentation using ERwin. Your duties include providing best practices for data modeling, and ensuring database designs support scalability and performance. You will also assist with identifying and resolving data integrity and consistency issues.

Responsibilities

• Support a system modernization project by creating and updating data models and documentation using ERwin on Oracle and MS SQL databases.
• Provide best practices for data modeling and ensure designs support scalability and performance.
• Identify and resolve data integrity and consistency issues.
• Supplement the DBA team with production support activities, including ad-hoc daily tickets and version updates, which may require working outside normal business hours.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and analysts to deliver data solutions.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional data modeling experience with ERwin Data or a similar tool.
• Experience with ORACLE 19 DBA and/or SQL Server 2019, 2022.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• SQL Server DBA Certification.
• Experience with DD BOOST, Oracle Grid Control, and Oracle ASM.
• Oracle Certified Associate or other Oracle certifications.
